I've never understood the appeal of the Howard Stern show, Richard Christy included. Aside from a few Norm Macdonald interviews it always struck me as way too self-referential to ever be funny or interesting, because none of the crew has either of those qualities (maybe they used to).



I also always found it strange that they seemed completely unaware of Christy's dm drumming background until he actually played that style live on air.

completely forgot about richard christy. does he still do any drumming at all or is he strictly fulltime on stern these days?

My impression of howard stern has always been that it's just a lot of hurr derp penisfart. This just confirmed that.



I listened to Bob & Tom a lot when I was 12, but...I was 12. It kind of scares me that there's people twice my age out there that think this shit is the beez neez.

I used to listen to Howard Stern a lot, Richard Christy was my favourite member of the crew.
