My roommate's daughter got this stupid motion-activated talking peekaboo toy for her birthday last week, and it's been startling me late at night a bunch the past few days. So... :die: the fucker got lynched.

She barely even talks yet. She wouldn't have a clue what it means. I'll probably end up taking it down tomorrow night before they come home on Monday though, if I get bored with it.



You really have to understand how creepy it is to come out into the living room at night, in the dark, and have that thing start talking.

Ironically, she has a toilet that plays music that sounds like old nintendo music. I might put it in there. And seriously...who buys their 2-year-old kids shit that makes noise? I mean...duh?

My two year old has drums and a uke, and other noise making things.

Things that he actually makes the noise come from are different. When all you have to do is press a button or look at it funny and it screams and plays stupid shit, that's when you want to throw that shit out a gay man's telescope.

Couldn't you just take out the batteries?

I'm thinking you weren't raised around a big family, you get use to that kind of stuff when there are a lot of kids around
