don't use draino. that shit is a waste of money.

a big bottle of white vinegar and a box of baking soda works just as good and gets the job done most of the time. same idea, wait a 20 minutes and then flush with hot water.

if that doesn't work take apart the tailpipe and ptrap under the sink (there will be liquid inside so plan accordingly) - if that's the source of the clog, wipe it out thoroughly with some rags and then put it back together.
if that still doesn't work you'll need to go deeper by running drain snake down the line. please note they are royal pains in the ass to use unless you get an electric one - sometimes you can rent them.
if that still doesn't work you'll need to get a professional.

You just have to go at it with some rags nearby to wipe your hands off and the knowledge that you can wash your hands thoroughly when the job is done.

you just remove the drain stopper and let all the vomit go down the pipe and replace the stopper and your problem is solved
