Aces Records is unfortunately closed down. All there is now in it's place is a vacant field. The only thing left of the death metal scene here is it's history and The Brass Mug. As long as the Mug stays in tact and going, Death Metal will stay strong here.

Good video, although I would have liked to see more in depth interviews with Morbid Angel and Nocturnus.
Does anyone know anything about the death metal documentary Six Feet Under? I saw it mentioned on Eterne de Sade's Metal-Archives page but can't find anything else about it anywhere on the net. It was made in 1995 and directed by some hard-on bearer called Kurt Webber.

I read somewhere that Nocturnus either rehearsed next d.oor to OR shared a rehearsal space with Morbid Angel.

This is crazy for me to read because I remember most of this shit. I've definitely gotten many CDs from quite a bit of those CD shops, knew where the instrument stores are, and I read Creative Loafing quite a bit. I just consider it my home, but seeing all of this makes me appreciate growing up here.
