Well, Shredlord1 now since Shredlord was already taken. I don't listen to a lot of extreme metal these days, and I certainly no longer play it, but I like to keep current on the scene, and I occasionally enjoy a new discovery, such as Soreption.

Hi Zim, thank you. Yes, although some arthritis in my left thumb makes it rather painful at times. I'm seeing an orthopedic hand surgeon on July 9th to see what options are available. I also play the piano, which does not cause any pain in my hand, so that's good.

a little of both. i also have some early arthritis in my fingers so i'm not playing metal as much
i did manage to finish a few metal songs and started lots of others. would eventually like to put an album together if i can ever get the motivation back

Thank you. Last year was pretty rough--we had to euthanize our two precious cats 3 months apart--one in September (large-cell lymphoma) and the other in December (suspected intestinal cancer). Since they were sisters and littermates, the vet suspects some genetic issue. After the first one died, we adopted a new kitten from the shelter since the remaining cat seemed so despondent--walked around the house meowing and searching for her sister for weeks, which added to the heartbreak. She loved the new kitten and treated him like her baby. After she died, we went back to the shelter to get a companion for the new high-energy kitten. It's still hard to cope with their loss since they were basically our children.
