It's kinda repetitive

I just bought the mp3 single from Amazon (7" should be here any day now...). Yeah, I would say repetitive. Sounds like it might work at a dance club for that reason.



I laughed hard at that first sample we heard on Amazon a while back. The rest of it is even goofier.

Tried to buy it with my amazon credits. But they cannot provide that service to people outside the US...

Uni I dare say you are dedicated like me. I too bought the 7" knowing i had no record player, lol!

So I went and grabbed it down from Amazon. Pulled down Nevermore hoping to see if it may be a little different than I had previously. Guitars do not sound quite as low as on the sample. Possibly this is a good thing. Hoping when I get home copy is in mailbox, or doorstep.

You can buy it on play.com , changing your credit card address (you must write in a UK address).

I bought a lot of MA vinyl over the years just for the collection. I recently bought a green vinyl version of domination. I have everything on vinyl now. Incl. Laibach remixes, 2 different Altars PD's, AOD Bootleg PD, Blessed and Covenant PD's, and now three different D's. Also a hand full of Bootlegs, singles and the Blessed single collection which is the blessed album on a couple of singles. (which is a official release BTW not a bootleg as stated on various placed on the web.)



There is a single from the wacken 2006 show with with Where the slime lives on it which i need to get my hands on yet, but it is a little pricy incl the shipping.

Man, seems like every Season of Mist special edition anything has had issues lately.



I ordered Septic Flesh "The Great Mass" artbook edition. First, a while back, they decide it would be DVD, no Blu Ray as originally advertised. Then it got delayed as well even though the album has been out a while. Then the Morbid Angel big wooden box of shame got delayed. Now the 7". WTF is up?!



On a positive note I appreciate their emailing and letting us know instead of just leaving us wondering. But still.

Yeah I had the feeling of BS today so that is why I went and bought from the download store. Very frustrating.

I still have not gotten anything official from them about the box. I even called and left message with the office. FWIW.

well, the most recent press release doesn't seem to indicate how many copies are in the run, only that it's 'limited'. my guess is, the plan was to announce the product, make it available for preorder, and then use that to gauge actual demand before determining how many they'll have manufactured. it seems like a smart enough move, it would be silly to overestimate and wind up with a bunch of expensive, space-consuming merch that nobody will touch and wind up losing money on the deal. likewise if they undershot it and didn't produce enough, that's several thousand dollars they're losing out on, and i'm sure the profit margin on this thing is pretty sweet (as is usually true for 'limited edition' anythings).



maybe that's a standard practice for this kind of thing if it's pretty common with their limited releases? i guess a viable alternate explanation could also be that they just contract this stuff out to some seriously unreliable folks.

I don't think they mentioned the total number of the boxset. I hope the pic was really only a proto, as the first mock-up looked way better.

I've seen it in other webshops and lists too (much more expensive) so there will probably be more than a few hundred. It was not a SoM exclusive.

BTW, this morning I saw the US-digipack version also avaliable in the euro store. I had my finger on the trigger, but the album is a little to foreign in my sight. So i backed out on ordering that one...

I'm actually genuinely liking the remix too. I enjoy electronic music in general anyways. I kind of prefer it to most preview samples I've heard

I think that if I had an amazing buzz going and then the remix accidentally came up on shuffle, that buzz would surely be ruined, no matter what counter-measures I employed. I would not prolong my misery--I'd hit SKIP as soon as possible.

I hope the original isn't as boring as the remix.

i was thinking even earlier than that. when they were almost more of a synth-pop band. the more i listen to it, it reminds me more of yello. specifically some of the tracks off of "you gotta say yes to another excess".

I can't stand their early synthpop rubbish. The sweet spot for me is '88-'96, though less so Filth Pig than the others. In Case You Didn't Feel Like Showing Up is fucking spot on awesome, especially its live version of So What?. I can't even listen to the album version anymore.

that's my favorite era of ministry as well.
