I think the idea is cool, but the actual thing wouldn't really work I think. How these "holograms" are produced isn't really working well. It's rather cheesy than cool.

I have seen some pretty cool ones. I think it depends on what technology you use. Tool's Ænima and Psycho Circus by Kiss didn't look to good. But 3D laser hologram's look awesome. Could you imagine Illud with this effect? It would rule beyond compare.

still its not much bigger, since its an print screen of a facebook page.

I have no problem reading the text on my tiny laptop. The picture is just a random image of a laser Hologram.
