OMG....trust me folks, I was among the few, who were so excited about "gleesoo" when I first heard the samples for TOO EXTREME...but after hearing the complete song I was like "fuck, this track is TOO LONG, TOO UNINSPIRED, bla bla bla...and not at all "well rounded" (this goes for almost the entire album!)! don't know why they're getting some decent reviews (metal hammer, rock hard) on this shockingly uninspired record! IT IS NOT A GOOD ALBUM...PERIOD!!! it's so ridiculous how disco d tries to justify himself for having played on this piece of...well, yeah, garbage!
btw. they just got a second article in a row in the latest issue of german ROCK HARD magazine (HELLO! there was not a single article or even a tour-advertisement/cd review for MORBID in that mag in the past 17 years!!!)...WHAT THE FUCK??? all this is beyond me...sorry, I don't get it! fuck the music industry! fuck gleeso!....

What a horseshit interview... the hard-on bearer can't even name some decent newer death metal bands. I don't know if it's because he's so hopelessly out of touch with the scene or just doesn't want to give anyone credit for doing better than MA nowadays. Hopefully it's the former - I guess he'd actually think their new material is "too extreme" if he had no idea what's been going on in the metal scene for the past 10 years or so.

Instrumentally the album is mediocre at best. The vocals sound like dogshit. If evil d would shut the fuck up for like, the whole album, it would be somewhat listenable.

yeah it really isn't that good. there are like three good songs on the album and they are only decent at best.

I dont even bother with those tracks. As much as it pains me to say it: i couldnt give a fuck about this rubbish.
There is more quality contained within one microsecond of Altars of Madness.
Hell, There is more quality contained within one femtosecond of The Unspoken King.

Is it really a death metal album?

I would put the metal tracks in the death metal genre, but the rest is obviously not death metal.
but that's not something that should bother you or me, because with almost every album they did instrumentals and had some kind of vibe going on that wasn't (death) metal.
Anyway, I still don't care for this album and I just don't want to listen to it.

I'm finding I can at least fairly enjoy 5 tracks off the album. Nevermore, Existo, 10 more dead, beauty meets beast and Blades for baal (to a lesser extent because it's too grating). Beauty... I initially didn't like because the vocals come in and ruin it but stick with it and some great riffing starts to shine through (if you can just ignore disco D's dreadful vocals).
There's also that crazy blasting section right at the end of desructos, but why wait that long through a silly song. So I've noticed some nice touches on this album that I didn't see at first, but I still wouldn't put it that close to there earlier works. It's just messy really, the production is good though and sounds massive
