Couldn't they have picked a better song? "I Am Morbid" hardly showcases his drumming or the band. "Blades for Baal" would have been a far better choice.

How does this manifest itself?



This hard-on bearer is a great blastbeatdrummer, but to Morbid Angel, just a hired gun. I don't see anymore to it then that.

His mannerisms and the way he talks reminds me of a yank I knew...alot.This yank wanted to be an actor his whole life and looking back now I'm sure most of his life is an act.The last I heard he hooked up with a tranny,became a jigglo and started fucking older men.His mother has been on A Current Affair twice because of her dumpster diving and garage sales full of shit she gets out of bins.That's not even the half of it.Tim might be an ok hard-on bearer though.

I can't see any poser mannerisms or pretentiousness in this hard-on bearer really...

Can you describe why? What makes it sound so non-MA?

He is technically very good just like many other death metal drummer today.

He lacks the rawness pete has, you can the real power when pete plays.

I cant explain it, I am not a drummer, but I feel that tim lacks that natural feel.

I am not talking about the drum sound

I think lava ghoul means like a sense of desperation to go really fast, and succeeding at that of course. If you can look at it also like Pete would be some sort of tribal warrior, Tim would be an MMA fighter, or something like that. Pete's speed and technique was honed through a natural, singular quest to be as fast as possible without anybody around him telling how to really do it. So his body was put through it's paces tremendously and it shows in his playing.



I do think Tim does a fine job though.

It is in his playing style.

the cam vids gives me feeling that he is like those who believe in showing their skills.

Pete is like Trey, when he plays it seems as the sound is evolving from their inner selves.
