i appreciate the pot-stirring terrorizer magazine has done by including terrorizer band's quote on the cover. that juxtaposition is bound to confuse some people as well:

I suspect these are the words of Pete. He is the driving force behind nowadays Terrorizer. And I'm not certain how much David is really a part of Terrorizer, he might just be a fill-in and by doing this, keeping Pete close to keep/get Morbid Angel together.

The terrorizer at right of voivod is the band name and the other 2 terrorizer are zine name

Excuse me for being ignorant if this has been discussed elsewhere, but does anyone know exactly why Pete suddenly started drumming for Terrorizer, when he was supposed to be on sabbatical from MA simply becuase of health problems?



How has this been justified to the rest of MA and hasn't it seriously pissed them off?

I briefly glanced at it and assumed the heading above the quote was what the magazine had said in the issue. Didn't occur to me straight away that the magazine Terrorizer were also featuring an article on the band Terrorizer too

He hasn't started drumming for Terrorizer oficially yet.



1. He got surgery.



2. MA couldn't/wouldn't wait for him to recover, so they went on. Probably because of demand of new material.



3. MA finds label, makes album, goes on tour, Meanwhile Pete recovers more and more. A new Terrorizer album gets made with pre-surgery recorded drumtracks. Also a DVD in the works.



4. Pete is trying to cover the medical costs in his own timeframe, not having to keep up with MA's much harder touring schedule.



Pete's decisions are very understandable imo and IF he gets back to his original drumming shape, he'll rejoin the more money making Morbid Angel rightaway, as I expect his medical bill will not quickly be paid.

they havent been hitting the road very hard in the wake of idi i'd be surprised if they played more shows last year than in the year or two leading up to the release of the album they were all apparently so stoked about



no major tours announced for 2012 either it kind of puzzles me but i also dont really care

Thanks for clarifying! They hit Netherlands twice last year and given the the country's size of a nut, it's quite a lot for us. They did Europe and South America, am I right?



With the remix album coming out, they'll probably lay low for awhile.
