Trey's liner notes in Heretic and the meaning of it

Her-e-tic…(n. her ‘I tik) (…) 3. Anyone who does not conform with an established attitude, doctrine, or principle.

Welcome to the realm where paradigms are exposed and put in their place.

Where we zero out the scoreboard, rise up and realize the difference between

the game and the players, the creation and the creator.

Here we de-mystify the idea of ‘absolutes’, replace the word ‘Truths’ with the word ‘Principles’,

and find the Wholeness in Silence.

In a culture where man fashions his gods in the likeness of his own image, confuses effect with cause, separates himself from the Creative Force through objectives ‘estranged’ evaluations. Fancy’s his convictions as universal truths,

in said cultures the seed of the tyrant is nurtured, sprouted and spread.

In a culture where man embraces the drives which move animals, bottlenecks his potential by basing his belief of what is possible, on physical measurements, the result is more tragic than triumphant.

“Discard any attachments to being aligned with the ‘good opinion’ of the tribe”

For the Heretic moves in ways unseen by them.

Life is a game in which there are paradigms/accepted rules, and the tribe thinks these are real and therefore they are real in their world.

But Paradigms Are Not Real.

What Is Real is the effect and impact caused in one’s ‘reality’ by believing in a paradigm.

A paradigm is only a fabricated system, a string of beliefs,

A constructed foundation/guidelines, such as the rules of a game.

Language, numbers, scientific method, space-time logic, reason…all are fabricated paradigms/systems, all are man made tools.

In science, all results of experiments are ultimately effected by what the experimenter believes.

The Mind is absolutely incredible!!!!

It is limited only by the constriction created by whichever system/program one has running/is conditioned in.

Beliefs/paradigms/systems are perception filters.

Without a conditioned system to fabricate reality, reality is only ‘Quantum Soup’.

Nothing but the potential to become anything and the becoming is based/constructed by the blueprints of our thoughts/beliefs/convictions.

Belief is the floodgate to our potential.

Beliefs, concepts, paradigms, etc…all dwells in the realm of the ego/id.

The ego is the tools and workshop by which one creates one’s reality in this game of life.

The ego is not who we really are but rather the roles that we can play and the playground.

The ego is pushed around by situations and is moved by external stimuli.

The ego is object referral and is defined by the way it reflects off it’s external environment.

This ‘reality’ is illusionary and only that of the game.

But in the silent spaces between our thoughts is where we find a more fulfilling ‘reality’.

There is lightness, bliss and wholeness, here and now.

And when we we identify ourselves as the silence, we find that we are not the manifestation but rather the manifestator.

From this place we can look upon our creation and see how it is not affected other than by the thoughts that we allow to zing around in our heads, the paradigms/systems we allow in our game.

The Manifestor is always bigger than Its manifestations.

The Manifestor is beyond the limitations of any paradigm or system.

The manifestor is nothing but the Potential to Manifest and Is Always at the Center of Infinite Possibility. The Manifestor is the realization that we have the ego/free-will such as an artist has the brushes, canvas and paint. These tools are never the artist but with insired imagination and freedom the artist can create by the means of the tools, manifest into the physical that which sparks from the meta-physical.

“There is no meaning to anything other thatn the meaning that you give it.”-Anthony Robbins

“The meaning that you give to the event , IS THE EVENT, and the only difference between joy and suffering is an INTERPRETATION.” [freely quoted from] – Deepak Chopra

These words are incredibly liberating for me.

These words only ocover a small part of what I call the ‘me-gal-gal’ otherwise called

“The Most Precious and Divine Ordering Principles” (something I have been driven to look for throughout my life) and although I don’t believe much in absolutes, I do believe that the energy these words attempt to share is some pretty usefully ‘affective’stuff.

Whooo hooooooooo, let’s have some fun in this game called life!!!!!

What does he mean by Creative force? His I am I will I create triangle?

In a culture where man embraces the drives which move animals, bottlenecks his potential by basing his belief of what is possible, on physical measurements, the result is more tragic than triumphant.

Why would it be more tragic than triumphant? Isn't that just a matter of personal values?

“Discard any attachments to being aligned with the ‘good opinion’ of the tribe”

What does he mean by 'moving in ways unseen'? This is very vague!

...In science, all results of experiments are ultimately effected by what the experimenter believes.

Is this so? Sounds very simplified to me. For example a medicine that works through science also works with patients..so..?

But in the silent spaces between our thoughts is where we find a more fulfilling ‘reality’.

Can someone explain this? How can you find something out like that? The spaces between our thoughts...like thinking nothing, being a braindead dumb-ass?

It seems to refer to an inner peace and this silent space or emptiness states that in the core we are empty inside?

Read some Deepak Chopra, not all ofcourse, but that makes a few things more clear to you.

Otherwise, all this bla-bla is just weird to anyone :P

Reeks of Deepak Choprah, former medical doctor gone new age philosopher that likes using the terminology from quantum mechanics vaguely as a metaphor for spiritual stuff(example: drawing influence from the fact that you can't know where a subatomic particle like an electron is until the observer looks at it, in other words, looks at the light bouncing off the particle, but light can disrupt the position of the electron, making all observations of small particles probabilistic. See the "double slit experiment").

That phenomenon has zero grounds in macroscopic reality though. :redneck:

I don't think the act of observation alters the results of an experiment so much as the means of observation. Logic would point to an unnoticed and thus unconsidered variable.

sorry to revive an old thread but this was an Awesome one. think the message is pretty clear. you are the creator of your own reality. you manifest every situation in your life. its up to you to decide if the experience is positive or negative. only you can stop yourself from getting what you want. be an individual and think for yourself. don't be part of the heard mentality. discover for yourself what's true and get what you want outta life.

You are perceiving and interpreting reality, not creating it. You could choose to not notice that truck barreling down the road but that won't keep it from splattering you over the pavement.

Could the meaning possibly be: ageing, pot-smokin' hippy?
