I also would like someone to interview Pete and ask him how he has been supporting himself for the past 4 years. Its always the same BS questions in every interview. David used to be bold and he spoke his mind unapologetically. Now, its nothing but vague, beat around the bush, diplomatic BS. What the fuck????????????????????????????????????????

I seem to remember Pete describing himself as a handyman on his myspace page for a while. He came down against "I" but I have yet to come across a clear statement that he is completely done with Morbid Angel.

I understand "never say never". Dave Lombardo came back to Slayer(I wouldnt be surprised if he came back again), Head came back to Korn, DLR came back to VH. But I wish they would be more upfront about this.

there really hasnt been any news from the MA folks with the exception of about two months before idi came out and i guess the summer of nonsense interviews that followed



other than that, all they announce / offer is the occasional tour on the european festival circuit

It's pretty bad what MA has done while Pete was recovering. Luckily Pete has family.

What the band did to Pete is essentially equivalent of a crippled war vet finding out he just got the herps, AIDS and crabs from his wife, who rode the nastiest meth-head cheese wangux in the vicinity and got preggo on it while he was hospitalized in a coma for his heroic efforts to save a puppy. Of course he still might have some resentments.

Yep...Disco D is being an asshole to Pete, he got really fucked up financially. Pete is very damaged, not only years of chronic pain/drug abuse, but also by what Disco D and Trey did on Gleeso. He felt betrayed, and this bible stuff is also a way for him to excuse himself for not returning again to the band (my point of view). By the way, Gleeso was a publicity stunt to generate news and attention to the band again for people who are new to marketing strategies. Disco D is a great business man, I have to admit...

If Pete has become religious then that's honestly whatever, good for him. It's none of our fucking business, if it helps him, it helps him.
