Illud could have been boiled down into an ep with less bullshit

Yep. Especially since they didn't even tour with the dance club material, and Pete was recovering anyway. It probably wouldn't have worked out because of Pete's personal issues, but at the time it would have made some sense.
Anyway, I would actually be more excited if Trey announced that he was releasing some solo material...featuring Mike Davis.

IF they had of released I as an EP it would have been much, much less of a catastrophe.

i agree, although we still would've had a disappointing EP that took like eight years to come out. still, disappointment is better than soul-crushing despair!

Did they ever even say what it was shaping up to sound like, or what their plans were?

I saw them on Summer Slaughter and after the show, Trey said they were working on an album, which he hoped to have out in the spring. I also know someone that knows Dave and he's been saying the same thing since last year, so who knows.

Interesting mash up cover art. Can still buy apparently from certain UK stockists. Vincent did a signing in Waterloo a month ago. Looks like this is the official J, we are up to K.
Haven't heard it yet, but it's an improvement Lets continue this upward line on 'K'

Y'alls gonna have to wait for the press release to get any info on the progress of MA. . . cuz you ain't gettin it outta me!! However, I do like the fact they are bringing an older live recording back as like some sort of EP.. which is cool. Keep your eyes peeled, masturbated crackers!! \m/

I'm not excited nor do I expect much. If it is a good surprise, then great.

I've heard David wants the next one to be more metal and less goofy. Lets hope his lyrics fucking improve.

David's opinion doesn't matter, in my opinion. Lol... He is a total master of douchebaggery. His Jedi name would be Master Douchebag and he would live in the slime between the pipes of a heavily used hospital toilet.

Well, I don't disagree with any of that.

hmm, missed this

I read about them doing this for Record Store Day, but I didn't bother to post because I didn't think anyone here would actually care
Plus it sounded like a very limited release. I guess David Vincent was signing copies in Austin, TX - possibly while wearing a towel.
