Would you be up for a new Morbid Angel forum where we ban all the trolls and get back to sharing actual content?

yeah this forum fucking sucks. so much post whoring and other pointless fucking troll bullshit. i just want to talk about illud ( ) and my Morbid Angel shirt collection and shit dude. fuck these lame trolls

MABB has morphed in response to its demand.  I don't think a new forum would change anything RE the amount of content posted.  The thing with the members here is that it has all been posted before over the last 12+ years; nothing is new to us anymore.  This - and the fact that Illud was so horrible - has really crushed the MA discussion section on MABB.

Yes there is, but the quantity has decreased significantly in the last five years.

You don't think the hostile climate has something to do with it?

If you mean the attitude of the remaining members of the MABB, you could be onto something.  It is fair to say that most of us are incredibly deflated by the contemporary MA. 
 
But this extends to other MA fans too - at least in my experience - and isn't unique to the ones on this forum. 
 
In other words, I put responsibility on MA, rather than on their fans.  They've really disappointed a lot of us recently.  I hold out hope for awesomeness in the future.  Most of us here want nothing more than to forget the last couple of years, MA-wise.

Every band hast that album. The album where experimentation take precedence over the same chugga chugga boring style of DM. Knowing Trey's musical preferences, this I album was a practical step towards what had to be done and what many bands of the genre have gone through.
 
As far as the hostile environment issue is concerned. That type of thing exists on and off the interwebs. It's just a part of life, some people choose to deal with it wrong, others not so much. It's basically within the eyes of the beholder and the choices that are made can either better the siituation or hinder it. Choosing to not be a part of the pussification regime can be a wonderful and beneficial part of any ones existence.

I meant it in the sense that every band has that crappy album. Ihsahn bounced back with his solo stuff. I believe MA will bounce back. May not be with the next release but it will happen.

The trolling and negativity is abit annoying at times tbh. You're a strange bunch of folks. Just about anyone will tell you the band still slay live. You all really so upset about I? Can any mods or whatever see how many people visit this place without posting? 

anyone who wants to make a forum about morbid angel is welcome to do that at any time

The subject of the album was being discussed and most opinions about it have not changed -- I'm not sure that qualifies as being "so upset" about it. Opinions about the live show vary, though I hear good things about it on this present tour. I don't really know where how many people visit without posting fits into the conversation. Chinese guests all up in this place.

The Chinese are avid Morbid Angel fans.

I do have quite a bit of unshared information to throw around, but I must admit the attitude of this board makes me hesitant about doing it here. Posts like "HELL YEAH GETCHA PULL", doesn't really give one much reason to make the effort. That was the sole reason for this thread. I might put a new board together in the near future. We'll see how that goes.

you are confusing what goes on in every forum other than the chapel, which has nothing to do with morbid angel, with what goes on in the chapel, which has to do with morbid angel, a disappointing band whose prospects look glum
 
i will also point out that there are strange and silly people on every internet message board, and that this is not an official morbid angel board
