Is 2021 the year Morbid Angel retires?

This year the pandemic will continue most of the year, people might be afraid to attend concerts, etc, so it'll be two years of no income from touring.

possibly. i'll bet they have at least one more album/tour in them before calling it a day. there's probably a decent amount of money to be made when bands can start touring the states again, people will be eager to get out.

also i'm sure a lot of these guys are probably eligible for unemployment and what not if they report their earnings.

It's a 98 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am, so it ain't like it's some mega expensive Lamborghini

Trey had written on a comment about starting work on a new album, so that's good news.

Wouldn't a car like that would sell for less than $5,000 today? Hopefully it still has a working air-conditioner.

No one wants a 98 trans am. Might get 5k if it's in really great condition and low mileage.

that transam was probably $30k when it was brand new (it was factory loaded, he had the ram air package and all that) but there's no collector's value for a standard production car like that. like what nick said, in the best case, you might be able to tack on a couple grand if you're patient enough for the right buyer and it's a single-owner, bone stock low mileage car.

perfectly fine performance for its day, but it's one of about 15,000 produced that year (30-40,000 if you're not too discriminating about your firebird trim levels). not something that you're gonna see at a barret jackson auction or anything, basically :santa:

one of those drag cars that just has a fiberglass shell laid over the top that kind of resembles a trans am :chetty:

They headlined tours in 2017, 2018, and twice in 2019.

The only thing they haven’t done has been tour outside of the United States which is a bit strange.

It still adds up to 3 weeks of touring a year.

They should have retired years ago, really. Same with many other 80s and gloryhole era DM bands.
