I miss the days of their being a shroud of mystique around musicians. If you knew anything about them it was gathered from interviews or very brief in person interactions. Social media is a curse upon us all.

Covid lockdown probably broke our boy. Like so many others. Definitely not the lucid weirdo he was in interviews 20 years ago who had his own thoughts, now he's just an incoherent weirdo toeing the fox news line.

the internet really has done a lot to destroy any remaining mystery in the world.
i'll tell you who's mysterious, the guitarist from ulcerate. that hard-on bearer has never given a single interview.

Dude New Zealand is barely on maps. You can't even begin to hunt some down if you can't even figure out where they live on a map.

It's ok. A lot of the appeal I had for MA has been lost because of the way Trey is these days.

At least bands like Blut Aus Nord and DsO remain mostly shrouded in mystery. But yeah, having access to everything people do does ruin things. I don't care what the guitarist of some band had for dinner, i just want to hear jams.

there's still a shroud of mystique around 90% of the bands i listen to, because i can't be fucked finding anything out about them

there's also the whole everything is 'content' thing now as well. everything needs to be recorded, chopped up into bite sizes pieces, and uploaded everywhere for engagement

he's always been online but kind of privately. he seems to like uploading random videos to his youtube channel. he was also active on myspace back in the day, he left some comments on my profile once that made me feel awesome

That is very 'Heretic'...which is a step up from anything that came after, let's face it.
