I would but there's not really much you can do with that unfortunately, it's a bad camera audio recording with no discernable stereo channels or mono info.
But I must say, I'd be very shocked to learn that that's a Morbid Angel song or riffing. I don't think it is at all IMO!
wow, i think that sounds pretty fucking groovy, i love it.
can anyone tweak that video to make the guitars stand out? bob?
Maybe you could download the video using youtube downloader, and then adjust the sound with your computer's equalizer...

Well the middle part does sound MA-ish. But it sounds like only one guitar.. no layering. Might be the vid quality though.
* e d i t* There are multiple guitars on a second listen..... It does sounds like MA.
As i miss to much to form a image of the complete song i'll keep my coments to myself.

Why not? It has that typical sludgy melody in it..

Yes that's obviously a click track.
So who is saying that this is a new MA song?
Tim also plays guitar, he could've recorded this himself.

Sorry my friends I totally disagree that that was MA stuff. It lacks the edgy urgency of MA. The elongated repetitiveness that's straight up & monotonic of the parts is so not MA - to me at least.
I'm not saying it's good or bad - it didn't really move me though much - but it just doesn't have that air stirring electricity to it. When I hear the constituents of an MA song coming together each part
makes me feel like something is going to happen; an anticipation...It does sound like somebody riffing out so that Tim can showcase.
Like I said, I'd be really shocked if it's confirmed that that's MA.

The riffing points to MA in slow melody, but It's strange that no vocals can be heard; I can't imagine him using an incomplete MA track, so I also tend to think this is not MA material.

I agree that it´s not new MA song. We don´t even have any samples to listen to and then they introduce that unfinished rhythm track. I think it's weird, but who knows.
Anyway those clips sounds cool and Tim seems to be a good drummer.

I'm pretty sure that it is indeed MA. The main riff feels too much like one of theirs. Just that the structure of this song s*cks ass. I think Yeung uses an incomplete track cause if he didn't it would show too much of the song before the album release. Also the ostinato he does on the hats and ride through (almost) the whole song is sooo boring. Maybe if there are some other guitar layers we don't hear in this preview it could prevent it to be this unninteresting.
Nevermove was also quite monotonous anyway. I think we should just accept now that this album is going to be a Turd

I didn't say anywhere that there was proof it was one of their new song (I'm talking about the first vid btw if this wasn't clear) I said it PROBABLY was... so I base my opinion on the fact that I'm very positive this is new MA material and also from the fact that I disliked nevermore ... did you read my post at all?

And I really don't see why the hard-on bearer who filmed at this clinic and put this vid on youtube would falsely name it. I suppose Tim announced that he was playing a morbid track. Normally at drum clinics, the musician doesn't start playing random sh*t without announcing what he will play.

SInce they have been so protective of the new material, I can't imagine that they would "allow" Tim to play one of the new songs at a public clinic.

I don't think It's a MA song, I've never seen a pro like Tim, Kollias or Roddy play new songs that aren't released yet at their clinics.
That's like Trey holding a clinic tomorrow playing riffs from the upcoming release
They show how they did it on the record only after a period of time, after the fans/drummers had the time to listen or jam to some of the tracks.
Forget about that crappy(sounding) cell recording with Tim playing the new song, you can't hear a note from Trey or David there, go figure.

morbid angel never repeats a riff that much in a song.
that can even be some riffs being neglected for the album

and by the way his drumming was good...

there is a difference between repetition and and a riff being played continuously..
only "I" has too much repetition

Not to mention if Trey creates a long repetition it's exciting; may be polyphonic parts, guitars doing different things going on
such as Summoning Redemption. Or,
like in all MA stuff, there is at least a stark contrast between drums and guitars rhythmically. These clips don't remind me of that. Here, the parts are kinda just running into each other. They sound more conventional, jam-like with everything kinda going in the same direction. It doesn't sound like a thought out composition to me. There's no edginess happening here, it's just blase. I duno guys, if it turns
out it is MA then I'm not too psyched about it overall.
Yea "I" is a sick sick, percussive song; total excitement

if they had just released the album in a timely fashion in the fist place, we wouldn't have to deal with every thread getting shitted up by this kind of speculation (as opposed to the more standard forms of thread-shittery)
as much as i disagree with a lot of the speculation that's occurred here, i really don't fault anyone for engaging in it. collectively speaking, most every other subject pertaining to MA one can imagine has been discussed to death here over the past 9(!!!!!!!!!) years, so there's not an awful lot left to talk about.

I am interested in your theory of thread-shitting as a default response once additional stimuli is depleted.
