however the amazing kreskin is and sleestak lightning is an actual song compared with what amounts to the i see pictures "demo" on jam room, but it doesnt really get the booty shaking for me



there are some great individual songs but they dont come together to make a great album, methinks. whereas beale street was full of really good songs that still came together to make an album much better than the sum of its parts

i relistened to beale street last week. mr shiny cadilliackness is easily the best track on it



It should have been the opener, not the closer. Would set an even better tone for the album.

naah its the biggest & most jammin song on there. you cant stop progress only really works as the first song because it's the most "up" song on the whole thing. if you put it anywhere else its like "what is this bouncy high energy number doing in the middle of the record?"



i think cadillackness could work as the first song at a show though

Definitely yes to Scar Symmetry, totally no to Soilwork. They haven't been good since Chainheart, but I liked some of Stabbing the Drama.

Never understood the love for that one. I like Bjorn's side project Terror 2000 more than Soilwork, Wrath of the Cookie Monster is one of the greatest songs of all time.



Alvestam has some great fucking side projects too, Unmoored have some heavy ass shit.

Beherit - Engram is sounding better than I remembered. More bands need to pattern their sound off their guitar settings...and then write excellent songs.
