I'm not a fan of that vocal style either. The only thing that comes close to that that I like is Defeated Sanity's Psalms of Moribund. I just think the vocals fits with the whole production. They have some really heavy riffs and some really intricate stuff.

Sometimes i feel like fruital DM is kind of like deathcore or djent in terms of trendiness.



But then again, i'm wearing a blue hoodie and a teeshirt with a funny slogan, so i'm in no position to condemn trendiness.

it's become fairly trendy here lately over in the socal neck of the states and elsewhere, but most of the bands currently putting stuff out suck shit and are boring to listen to.

Its very important to not listen to shit music.

Halfway through the first one is pretty goddamn heavy if it had some chris barnes vocals over it

Is that a drum machine or real?

It's a drum machine--or a ProTools plug-in, more accurately. We couldn't find a real drummer who could play our songs. Psypheria had a real drummer.
