I like all shall fall and ended up buying it but i havent really listened to it much. i think they concentrated too much on atmosphere and needed more headbangers on it

the albums after AtHoW have some tracks i enjoy, but on the whole seemed kinda lackluster to me. everything up 'til then though is high motherfuckin' quality though

I always thought it would be cool if they re-recorded some of their older albums. there are some neat songs on there that really get lost in the shitty production. at the heart of winter's production is probably the best one honestly. after that they got too polished.

i'm struggling to think of any full album re-recordings that were any good

the nothing rerelease was an improvement but it wasnt a full re-recording

I actually am rooting for the 'polished' production as I find Immortal's more 'polished' albums to be very enjoyable. I'd love to hear ATHOW with Sons Of Northern Darkness production.

that seems like a waste of effort though, the production is already fine as it is.



re-doing the earlier stuff, only without demonaz on guitar would also be silly
