Slipknot was inconsequential. Headlining entire bills of shit bands though? Last I heard, they were retiring!

Slayer touring with Slipknot is consistent.

that would be a pretty sweet tour if you eliminated all the bands that aren't slayer. maybe anthrax too, i haven't listened to very much of them, so i'm willing to give them the benefit of the doubt.



but yeah slayer has been touring with shitty bands for ages. i'm pretty sure there was one tour where they had hatebreed tagging along, and they even had to open for pantera on extreme steel



but anyway, and most importantly, no matter who they tour with or how many inconsequential albums they release, haunting the chapel and hell awaits will never belong in the trash

looks like I'll be seeing Slayer and Anthrax this summer. Arrive in time to see tAnthrax and Slayer and then leave before slipknot

how often do you go to shows and either



a) dig all the bands on the bill, or



b) come away having dug all the bands on the bill



cause off the top of my head i cant remember going to a show where either of those was the case. and that's fine; it's not a big deal in the slightest. slayer has toured with poopy bands since forever and the same is true of everyone else

the only one i can think of immediately is morbid angel/deicide/soilent green/zyklon/exhumed. except deicide didn't play 'cuz glen benton doesn't venture into massachusetts for reasons unknown. all of the other examples i can think of involve showing up late or leaving early
