its groove metal like pantera, and this could've easily been a riff dime would've layed down during the vulgar era, but its very much meshuggah so i dont think many people will make a pantera connection with this song

its pantera-sounding riffs in the meshuggah style that solo fucking sounds like the ghost of dimebag though

The German's always said Shuggs were a swedish Pantera in some early mags (when their debut & "Contradictions..." came out)

none has a sort of pantera vibe. and i guess dei just the teensiest bit. but this is the most overt pantera feel ive ever gotten from a meshuggah song
