I just realized that for me the answer is almost never these days. I always enjoy the songs when they come up on the random play setting, but I rarely find myself sitting down to listen to the album they're off of all the way through.

i aint got no all time favorite albums.

Its just "invocation of continual one" ive been listening almost daily from years but never got bored with it

i let some go for years and then get the urge to bring them back in rotation, then i'll listen to it a bunch for a couple of months and then it goes back on the shelf.

depends what it is really, but a lot of my favorite stuff isn't metal
