No Wâldrock festival in 2010
The organisation of the Waldrock festival sadly had to decide that this annual event in Burgum (Friesland) won´t go through in 2010.
The rising cost of artists, facilities, security, loss of financial support and a couple of editions with less visitors has led to this choice. Also the strength in competition of the festival has come under strain because of the three-day metal festivals in germany and belgium and the large offering in stadiums and podiums. In the next months the organisation wil decide if a restart in 2011 is possible.
