Or is it just in my region? There used to be something to look forward to several times a year, but now... it is very boring. One or two festivals have stopped too.

I was most active going to concerts around 2004 and 2005. I don't know if I miss out on concerts because I don't pay attention, or if it's because there are fewer worthwhile ones.

The spiked gauntlet-wielding, Mayhem-shirt wearing folk must have dug up their old My Chemical Romance CDs and went back to their old ways.

there hasnt been many shows coming around my way, i dont mind because as i get older i care less about seeing bands live unless its a band i really, really like. keep in mind i have to drive 2 hours to the nearest venue

one of the main venues here closed and the other one was taken over and turned into a disco that only occasionally puts on shows.



the trouble is the one venue that closed was also one of the main promoters so now the only shows we get are DIY shit. we had Phobia and Wormrot come through a while back which was fun because it was a last minute show and over 200 peeps showed up to a DIY venue.



other than that we haven't had shit which is a shame because sludge and metal bands used to come though here all the time but not lately.



the past 3 shows I went to were Boris, Goatwhore/Revocation, and Phobia/Wormrot. not a whole lot and i'm not picky at this point. any decent shows are at least 3-4 hours away.

Fewer bands seem to be stopping here these days



Keelhaul and knut are playing here soon, that should be enjoyable.

I think there used to be more shows worth seeing, at least, at The Palladium in Worcester and Higher Ground in Burlington.

lots of gigs here - especially in Wrocław, Cracow and Warsaw



but still we have no interesting metal fest :(
