I don't think any of the bands listed have a catalog as consistent as Megadeth's. Metallica began a steady decline after Justice, bottoming out with St. Anger. Risk is the one blip for Megadeth.

Career consistency is a poor criterion.

But the poll is clearly about the catalog. Metallica average out quite poorly in that regard. The competition in the first four only is also more tight than you'll admit.

Metallica can release whatever the hell they want and they'll still average out on top.
