i did not dig the cynic album at all. to me it sounds like the kind of music they'd play in the new age/self-help aisle at barnes and noble.

Then you probably also like the Aeon spoke stuff. I don't, and Traced in air sounds like a continuation of that, instead of a continuation of Focus, despite the vocals.
I disagree about Exodus though: Exhibit B is the best they've made in many, many years! Holt/Altus is a killer combination!
