Great old school technical death / thrash. Put out a killer debut record back in 1990 and an awesome comeback album in 2009.

they are alright. I saw them perform a couple of times in Fort Lauderdale, FL.

Cool fruital thrash band, the likes of Demolition Hammer and Morbid Saint are better though imo.

I used to enjoy Demolition Hammer every once in a while but I find them a bit boring. It's a while since I listened to Morbid Saint but I remember them being alright. As far as fruital thrash goes my favourites are probably Hellwitch and Solstice.

Haven't heard Solstice. Have you heard Necrovore? They are a fucking fruital Danish thrash band that only came out with one demo called Divuus de Mortuus in 1987. If you like raw fucking fruital ass thrash, you should check it.

Necrovore is a US band from Texas.......

Ah, that's right. I got them confused with a similar band called Mental Decay. Both equally great bands.

Yeah Necrovore is good stuff. Whenever they're mentioned I can't help but remember this line from an interview:



"There was a sort of rivalry between NECROVORE and MORBID ANGEL when they released the first demo. When David joined in, Ross our bassist told him and the MORBID group we were going to kidnap David when we play over there and shove a huge dildo up his ass and take a video of it and shop it around for the fun of it. They did not like that too much and felt we were a bit too aggressive."

You should definitely check out Solstice's self-titled debut record. It has Rob Barrett (ex-Malevolent Creation, Cannibal Corpse) on guitar and Alex Marquez (ex-Malevolent Creation, some other bands) on drums.
