Krisiun/Vader/Decapitated. The Krisiun Drum solo. I've seen them 5/6 times and they always play a drum solo, but this one was particularly winsome.



Nile/Dying Fetus. During the Stop at Nothing era. NIle played about 6 tracks from Annihilation before it was even released. Eric Sayenga blew me away on the drums i must say.



Morbid Angel/Primordial - My first Death metal show ever. I was too young to drink at it but it was still an intoxicating experience. Steve Tucker left soon after.

metallica with jerry cantrell and days of the new at lakewood amphitheater in atlanta on june 26 1998. because it was my first \m/etal show and this was probably the peak of my mouth-foaming metallica worship. listening to the show now i realize it isn't even that great a performance but at the time i was too busy being all to notice



oh and cantrell was fucking win too



fear factory with static-x and some other band at the masquerade in atlanta on august 4 1999. this was the beginning of my fear factory worship i got to sing verses on edgecrusher and demanufacture



meshuggah at ozzfest, also at lakewood, on july 28 2002. first time seeing meshuggah and i got there when the doors opened (9:30) to be able to get to the very front at the second stage to be able to see them. nearly fainted from sunshine + no fucking water for five hours. almanac.com tells me the temperature peaked at 91 (33 celsius) that day but it sure did not feel that cool. afterward i met the band at the signing booth and basically drooled all over them and marten was like "fuck yeah man, i saw you up front" and everyone else just looked uncomfortable at my fanboyism. it was: awesome



mastodon at tasty world in athens on december 19 2003. first mastodon show. i knew them kinda well and they played three new songs (iron tusk, island and i think megalodon). there were about 100 people there, most of them idiots. but that show came at a truly lame time in my life and made me feel better for a little while. also it was only a five-block walk home afterward



there have been others since then but those four stick out at the moment

1. Weird Al - June 7, 2007. It sounds odd, but it was easily the most enjoyable concert I have attended.

2. Nile, Immolation, Krisiun on one of the most recent U.S. tours. I was with a fellating lover and my brother. It was a good time.

3. Clutch, The Sword, Graveyard. Went with a fellating lover, sound was great, heard Graveyard for the first time.

Dying Fetus / Skinless / Misery Index. at the Culture Room in Ft Lauderdale. just an intense show that i'll always remember. it was somebody in Skinless' birthday so Sherwood brought out a huge chocolate cake and they took a few peices and then threw the rest into the crowd. it was a bloody mess after that.



the first and last time I saw Amorphis (2005 I believe) at the Culture Room in Ft Lauderdale, FL.Tomi Joutsen had just joined the band so nobody knew what to expect but it was awesome and he really did justice to the old and new material. just a great show as they were my favorite band at the time.



of course when I saw Morbid Angel with David (2006?) at the State theatre in Tampa, FL. that was another awesome show.



King Diamond w / Nile and Behemoth at the House Of Blues in lummo's cowtown, FL what a fucking show.



Atheist w/ Aghora played a really awkward night club in Miami in 2007. memorable because Atheist fucking slayed.



Type O Negative / Celtic Frost at Revolution in Ft Lauderdale....2007? two of my favorite bands sharing the stage. the only that sucked was CF seemed like they were not into it at all and they split up not long after this tour and Pete of Type O would drink himself to death only a couple years after this.

Clutch and stinking lizaveta at sonar on my 21st birthday.



Cattle decapitation, hate eternal, macabre and cannibal corpse at the ottobar in late 02 or early 03. Show was awesome besides cannibal corpse. Best part of that set was the retarded Asian hugging the pole in the middle of the floor.



King diamond and entombed at jaxx. One of the best shows I have ever been too. And for the mabb old schoolers this was the show with nocturne. Yes that's the band Bryan flipped out on.

i saw this tour as well! both opening bands were awful but dry kill logic was fuuuu. one of the worst bands i have ever seen or heard. i can think of only one band that sucked harder

i saw them twice in two weeks! they opened for fear factory on the second leg of the digimortal tour and the last show of that tour was in atlanta on october 23rd. then they hopped on over to the slayer tour and fucking opened for them on november like 3rd or 5th. twice in two weeks!



i actually got approached by a street teamer at the slayer show. he tried to give me a bunch of bumper stickers and i just said "dude, i saw them with fear factory and they were terrible." he actually said "i appreciate your honesty" and left me alone. so i guess the true fucking worst band would have overbearing shithead street teamers on their side as well. for now, though, they are the all-time worst

street teamers I'm glad that shit died down.
