mangini, donati, and minnemann were easily the best of the 7 that they auditioned. good for mangini though, he really poured his heart into learning the material and doing the audition.



I feel bad though, for the inevitable return of portnoy. I'm betting one record + one tour cycle before portnoy gets tired of sitting on the sidelines watching his baby grow up, and he inevitably rejoins the band. they're all close friends outside of the band, so it's definitely not outside the realm of possibility.

Theres fuck all drummers better than mike mangini, in fairness. FUCK ALL.
