Hey guys, let me hear your opinions
I know a lot of you wouldn't really be too into the style of my original music, but I'd still like to hear what you think about my leads. In my delusional life dream of being in Morbid Angel
, the lead you hear here is basically how I would write them in MA as the second guitarist. So you can skip to 2:35 to hear the solo on this track.

Re: Hey guys, let me hear your opinions
the song is really kinda new new new school thing to me ...actually the horrible parts of all that post stuff are mainly the vocals for me there are lot of bands out there which would sound even better without this stupid screaming shit ....but back to your lead it sounds nice to me.. i think i got what you where trying to express there ....just dream on and enjoy your stuff

Wrong section?
I didn't really get the MA feel from the solo..probly because of the background riff and the 4ths/5ths whatever the hell setting your pedal was on.Not to mention no dive bombs
I just don't think it's really possible to replicate Trey's soloing style.

I really like the music and really dislike the vocals!
I am the Dragon. And you call me insane. You are privy to a great becoming, but you recognize nothing. To me, you are a slug in the sun. You are an ant in the afterbirth. It is your nature to do one thing correctly: Before me, you rightly tremble. But, fear is not what you owe me. You owe me awe.

Your solo sound happy-ish melodic to me, whereas Morbid Angel solo's sound hysterical and eerie.

I really, really liked the solo. It fits the song; does it fit Morbid Angel? Not really. Do I think you can write something that would be appropriate for MA? Fuck yes.

Need a new signature? Why not Zoidberg? (V) (;,,;) (V)

I thought it fit just about as well as anything Rutan wrote, seeing as it sounds just like him...

The music is great! I don't like the vocals, and the solo reminded me of Vai (which is a good thing!).

Re: Hey guys, let me hear your opinions
The solo you're playing reminds of what Erik tried to do in MA. His style was a great contrast with Trey's, more melodic and structured and that's why it is still my favourite guitar duo. So I definitely approve of your solo being in a MA-song

Re: Hey guys, let me hear your opinions
wow thank you to all of you who took the time out for a sec to listen...
I understand the general sentiment about the vocals, ahah it's not what you guys like and that's totally fine.
If I can say, as objectively as humanly possible here, the thought by many of you of my lead work sounding similiar to Eriks I tend to agree
with. There is more of a melodic gravity. Hell even Erik told me I reminded him of his style and my band mate JJ reminded him
of more of a Trey style. I do like to play "wrong" notes a lot though. I like playing outside of the b.ox but I never neglect the focal point. In
fact, this song did tend to lean more of a "happy-ish" sound (think end solo of "nothing but fear") without being too outside of the b.ox but it happens
to be in this song. I thought it still had a subtle uneasy feeling underneath the inverted 3rd heavily chugging away.
At the same token, I definitely would write even a bit more bizzare if I were playing in MA complimenting Trey. It's definitely a matter of context
here.
I really appreciate that you guys checked out the whole song, because I was just wondering about the lead work. The music obviously is what
is close to me so I am mighty proud of it. It may not be very obvious, but there are MA things going on with DEP things and some even older metallica
things going on. The music sort of ties in how I related to these amazing - to me at least - bands.
Thanks again, I welcome all comments and thoughts. After all we are bonded by one the greater Death Metal bands of all time.
If you're up for it, in the lead in this track you can hear a bit more eccentric quality. May be even some Trey elements here and there.

I do definatly like the first song, It's intresting, weird, new but still good. I do definatly like the vocals for the first one, I had some problems with the second song though, It had some cool parts but I didn't like the astmosphere of it.

Honestly, James Murphy jumped out a little more than Rutan, but I was trying to concede the comparison anyway.

Albeit, a little less sweepy.
