Pearl Jam's first few albums are very underrated among metal fans imo. They were all very competent and thoughtful musicians/composers even without a comparison to their grunge peers.



I don't have a favorite song, but "Vs." is my favorite album by this band. These days mainstream music just doesn't get songs of the caliber and spontaneity you get from that era of PJ.
