I never got the whole Fear Factory thing. Too much of a "let's make it in their face!" vibe for me. Plus the music sucks anyway.



But godflesh is something else. Aside from the weird FX riffs/noises they easily have the most hauntingly simple drumming ever penned. The song titles are also beyond criticism, with "Locust Furnace" being the best.

If you have Spotify you can listen brand new Scorngrain album there. This album is a very different release as there is no "wide" distribution on it; it is published on disc only in Miasma Magazine (Metal tabloid in Finnyland) as a "free release".

i bought it when it came out, but i havent really listened to it much..... it doesnt suck or anything, but i didnt click with it. which is odd because i love their clean vocals and hooks and this album defintly has more than their previous ones. this thread will remind me to spin it again sometime soon and try to get into it more
