Rolling Stone had a brief review of Formulas. I recall it saying the drums were a drum machine. Then again, it also said Trey uses made up words like "paradigm" so what do those retards fuck know.

I'm guessing Trey writes the drum parts - because on H the bonus, Trey's demo songs the MIDI drums are pretty much exactly what Pete plays on the albums (maybe with a few different rolls).

Trey's been playing with Pete for so long, he knows how he plays and thus writes for him.



This is why I'm curious about Tim playing. How much was written for him and will he play like Pete or will he add his more tech ideas.

it is obvious that recording real drums is better, ive just made that G comment because i feel that the drums are pretty much different from what pete played before, my only intention was to say that pete is very versatile drummer.
