At first, I gave episode 2 and 3 a hard time, it didn't feel right to me.

But after watching all the prequels again, I changed my mind. They're actually really good.

I like 2 and 3 - the only problem is Manakin Skywalker, terrible acting.

And some sections are gay, but overall good flicks.

1 has JaJa so that just needs to be forgotten.

This. Jar Jar aside, the prequels were awesome as fuck. I agree with zimberly that 3 is especially cool. Really, though, I very much prefer the Clone Wars animated Anakin to the Hayden Christiansen version. He's not a bad actor, (Shattered Glass ) but he was noooooo good at Anakin. Ewan MacGregor, on the other hand, was a superb Obi Wan.

has anyone seen men who stare at goats? all the star wars references are funny given the fact that obi wan is in the movie.

redlettermedia's extended video reviews do a pretty awesome job of fleshing out exactly why the prequels were so bad. well, the first two anyway, i don't think they ever did one for episode 3.

Obviously never saw the original theatrical run of 4/5/6 but I was fortunate enough to see the CGI rereleases in the gloryhole era . The additions were pretty dumb but it was a small price to pay

i actually haven't seen a star wars film for many years and i only saw the prequels once each at the cinema. same with the lotr films. need to get some trilogies on.
