I think he got it all out of his system with Belus, I'm expecting everything released from him in the future to be completely new material unless the old albums get re-pressed or something.
I'd certainly like to hear more material in the vein of Sverrdans from Belus, since that was a song from his first band Uruk-Hai or whatever. I can hardly find any information on that band at all.

In a recent interview, Varg Vikernes made reference to a couple of upcoming projects, set to follow the promotion of the new album, Fallen. By September of this year, he plans to release a compilation of re-recorded Burzum tracks, from Hvis Lyset Tar Oss and Filosofem. For next year, there are plans to re-record songs from the debut album and Det Som Engang Var.
It seems that too many bands are re-recording old works, these days, but yet it is always a source of curiosity. On one hand, it is interesting to see how a band can reinterpret their old songs, yet rarely do they ever manage to capture the same feeling and magic as the originals. This often leads to fans becoming angry that their favourite songs have been raped, but one could also say that no one is forcing them to listen. Outside of ridiculous behaviour, like that of Megadeth and Ozzy (where they re-recorded parts of classic albums and now release them in that manner), it is not such a big deal. No matter how badly the project may turn out, that will not prevent anyone from going back and enjoying the originals.
In the case of Burzum, it is clear from his recent albums that he is unable to give the same type of vocal performance that he once did, and that fact alone will mean that the old songs will sound quite inferior. Unfortunately, he once stated in an interview that he disliked his old vocal style and this may be one of the reasons for re-recording the songs. Still, one could say that he would get more out of recording Metal versions of the material from Dauði Baldrs and Hliðskjálf, rather than tampering with the classics.
In the end, they are his songs and he is entitled to do as he pleases with them. No one will be forced to listen, so to try rebelling against this is pointless anyway. Still, there is the hope that he does not butcher the songs too badly, just on the chance that someone happens to get introduced to the band through these future compilations. It would be a shame for them to get a bad impression of Burzum based on poor re-recordings.
