i saw ministry on that tour. loudest show i have ever been to. also, a finnish surf band (of all things) opened.

sphinctour in like '96 or so? i went to that one also, but i can't remember if this finnish surf band opened at the show i attended or not. i can't remember who the openers on that tour were at all and i can't seem to find any info online either

yeah. i saw them in salem oregon, and it was Jesus Lizard, and Laika and the Cosmonauts opening. ridiculously loud.



I met david yow after the show, he was very nice, and very drunk. paul barker was nice too.

just like the soundgarden tour shirt said portland instead of salem... ministry was actually really good live when i saw them too, much better than a few years before at lollapaloosa.

yeah, i've seen 'em twice -- first time in '96 or whenever, and again a few years back when they were touring for rio grande blood. that band did not fuck around
