Classic stuff my fellating lover:

No hero shall rise amongst you

Don't prolong your misery accept your fate

Laser Vision has monitored for centuries

We gathered evidence, we know that you are disease

It matters not what countermeasures you employ

You're not the first ones that we've destroyed

We take charge of the task at hand

Rid this third planet of life

DESTROY MAN, WE'RE MARCHING, DESTRUCTOS MARCHING ON MAN

WE'RE MARCHING, DESTRUCTORS MARCHING ON

WE'RE MARCHING ON

And pull the data ....

or something like that

It is the one that is stuck the furthest in the deep recesses of my cranial matter.

Thanks for posting the longer samples, defintely gives a better feel of what's incoming.

'Radikult' is the new 'Highlander 2' - it never happened.

The rest of it sounds decent, and will almost certainly grow on me; the one thing I didn't want them to do after such a hiatus was a death metal by numbers generic-fest, and it's certainly not that. Frankly I'd rather see them try something different and fail than not bother to try; it means at least their hearts are still in it. They could do death metal by numbers in their sleep, but that would probably put us to sleep.

Conservative Heretic: you don't understand those lyrics because they are in Spanish.

Tu corazon latiendo

Tu sientes el dolor

Deseo la locura

Suplicas--extreme!

Your heart pounding

You feel the pain

I desire insanity

You beg--extreme!

Odd that a couple of websites list it as 'hands'. Is there any story behind this, or is it just a case of internet retardation?

I'm implying (perhaps foolishly?) that the fact that Destructos has drums doesn't mean any more than saying "Green Day has drums!"

You say that Destructos seems to be metal, and then say "notice that those are mostly drums on Destructos" as if you're supporting your claim that it seems to be metal by pointing out that it has drums. If that's the idea, then it's pretty weak as a supporting statement, because as I mentioned, Green Day (and many other not-metal bands) have drums. If that wasn't your point, then what was? Does the fact that it has "mostly drums" mean something? If it does, I'm missing it. Why don't you open my eyes (and hear my cries), so that I can see the fire in your wand? It's burning pretty weakly, from where I'm standing.

Seems we're to the point where we have to give Morbid Angel songs extra points for having drums.

By the way, for what it's worth...I've been told that SoM is no longer giving out streaming or DL links, as the record LEAKED. I haven't seen it floating around yet, but bound to pop up soon.

Anyone else think that the last part of the verse (?) riff in "I Was Morbid" is a little reminiscent of the gallop pattern in the main riff from "I"? And the vocal patterns in "Beauty Meets Beast" remind me a little of the verse patterns in "Nothing but Fear." I keep wanting to hear "you've dabbled in magic, now your fingers are burned."
Destructos and I Am Morbid are metal, that was the point.
I don't disagree--I think that I Was Morbid is metal, just not death metal or (to me) good metal. Destructos I guess I agree on as well, as I consider Samael a metal band and they do shit like that, too. I just found it odd that you qualified it with "it has drums." Actually, hahaha...Samael DOESN'T have drums (mostly) and I still think of them as metal (although not usually good, lately).
I've been listening to metal since I was a teenager and you're here telling me that drums alone don't make metal

Actually, I have to decline that honor. I think you win with "Notice that those are mostly drums on Destructos." Until you said that, I was thoroughly convinced that it was Thor pounding, pounding coconut shells together.

I wasn't telling you that drums alone don't make metal. I was telling you that saying it had drums didn't tell us anything.

A few weeks ago I had the opportunity to hear the entire record: It's definitely a great extreme music work!

Guitar riffs are brilliant and experimental too, David Vincent versatile vocals have helped to create authentic musical gems.

A couple of tracks are totally outside Morbid Angel box (and perhaps slightly too long), but these are excellent songs, really original.

Morbid Angel have re-invented the Extreme. Once again.
I am currently enjoying the Destructos track more than any other.
You know what dude, I can't agree, because it isn't my style. However, from what I hear, it sounds reasonably well done for that style of music. It kind of reminds me of some of the electronic shit that Atrocity did when they covered 80s songs on Werk 80. And actually that vocal style is what I expected from Vincent back when he first quit the band. He said he was going to do some dark but not death metal music with cleaner vocals along the lines of what he did on God of Emptiness.

I'm curious--do you listen to industrial stuff primarily, or often? More than death metal, even? I'm not busting your balls, I'm just curious, because I wonder if a song like that would win over a fan that was more into that style of music. Maybe they will cross over some. Then again, there's not a lot on the album like that song.

You know we're gonna see a remix album soon enough. The Combichrist thing is only the beginning.

New Hate Eternal is indeed excellent death metal. Also have "Nader Sadek - In the Flesh" to look forward to. Steve Tucker sounds demonic on the samples I've heard. Those 2 alone should tie me over till the "J" album comes out :ba:

thats the reason you are liking Too Extreme.

those longer samples will put the truth in front of you. Also, the last track is suicidal.
