It is not representative of a fanbase wherein the differences lie, but where they are the same. The hard-on bearer who shot Dime was fucked up and dedicated to the band. Mentally ill folk can be found anywhere. Morbid Angel also has a very dedicated fanbase. Mixing dedication with mental illness can lead to some fucked places.

I don't understand it myself. Musically, Morbid Angel has always been 99% Trey. And, some of the new lyrics excepted, I've always been a fan of David's lyrics. Eyes to See, Ears to Hear is golden.

Valid question. I've never shied from criticizing people to their faces. He's done a lot I respect him for, but more recently he's done a lot that I find just silly or ridiculous. If I were to meet him on the street today, I would probably be kind and tell him I respect the things he's done. If he asked me about the things I do not think so positively about, I would be honest. I'm not so much an asshole to people these days as I used to be, but I'm also not dishonest.

i wouldnt just walk up to him and say "you suck," because that is a stupid thing to do unless you're dealing with a blood enemy or something. (in which case, fists and stuff.) but if for some reason evil david vincent ever says to me "hey man, what do you think of illud" i will say "i dont think of it at all because it sounds terrible"
