The first three Deicide albums fucking trample over Illud.

Are you fucking kidding me?! Deicide can't even touch A-H but Illud falls waaaay short of the first three Deicide albums. There's no fucking Radikult, for starters.

Their first three albums are amazing! Especially Legion, I agree with that. But they also made the fantastic Stench of Redemption
Lately, they have been mediocre

I don't give a fuck. No matter how great or shitty IDI may be, Morbid Angel is beyond the superfluity lyrical, musical, and engineeral sentiment of those held to a simplistic belief in the dog of the christian scriptures to be worth wasting time upon. They are a fun band to jam to and get your angst on but they hold themselves back from a 1611 mindset.

Anything after the live album When Satan Lives is
Scars of the Crucifix is a decent comeback album but it didn't have much longevity for me.

I think you should read the lyrics to IDI, then. Morbid Angel is clearly not beyond any lyrical lowpoint anymore.

Is all they can do is give reverse praise to the dog of the defeated jew? I love the brutality of sound, but what he has to say, is pathetic and weak.
I'd rather they shut the fuck up and just jam then give acknowledgement to that weakness.
IDI gives a meaning and expressionism to that voice I have held. The words are said to be self serving but do we lose sight of the blessing we are truly what makes Morbid Angel?. It is not an abstract construct but a chant for what we all hold together.
The Ancient Ones are on the cusp of reaching the masses, is this not what we would want to have?

They are elevated far above the failures of jehovah which seems all deicide is able to speak about

I'm sorry but even in considering "The Ancient Ones" as a metaphor, by virtue of what "they" are, "the masses" and them do not go hand in hand let alone the same sentence. That's the whole point. When MA did what they used to do, it was exclusive: not just for anyone.

He wrote the lyrics.
And most bassists in death metal doesn't write the music, only the exceptional ones (Webster, for example).

That is true when you forget IDI exists. When you compare IDI to either of the first three Deicide albums, it's another fucking story.

Best benton vocals imo. Amazing and vicious layering and reverberation techniques.

True I did listen to Once Upon quite a bit back i the day. It was definitely a departure of the crazier frantic writing of legion but had solid songs on it.

Deicide havent released anything great for almost 20 years now.
That makes Benton a hard-on bearer with no right to talk about MA.
Simple as that.
