Which Song Did They Use All Thoe Guitar Tracks For?

Post by Drum Solo »

I think in an interview posted somewhere here there was mention of a ton of guitar tracks being used on a song from the new album, and then someone replied by saying that it's pretty normal in the music industry.

Nevertheless, does anyone know which track had all those guitar parts (I think it was 70 or something) added to it?

Not sure, something like Radikult or so... you can't hear all those tracks of course. Sonically it doesn't work like that. We had a discussion about this before.

With todays technology it's not necesary with so many tracks, if they aren't going into to diffrent melodies or so.

it doesnt matter because the album isn't worth listening to more than once anyway.

Those Insane guitar layers in Too Extreme! + Profundis-Mea Culpa + Attack make me think of lots of guitar tracks :redneck:

Now this is Extreme - these 3 songs played by a ''drums + guitars + bass'' band and not with a drum machine and synthesizers!

guitar layering is common. some demos that i do have 4 guitar tracks for rhythm with others coming in and out for texture or leads. i think loveless by my bloody valentine used a shitload of guitar tracks every song on the album. when my guitarist and i do demos we joke about how it's like weaving or quilting almost.
