we arrive right as who ever played before HE is getting of stage. so me and my dad get there and we go see hate eternal and have some fun in the pit and stuff (btw they had a great set, the first 5 songs on PATA and a bunch other. closed with the king of all kings i think!) and usually every concert we go to we always end up meeting the guys in the band. the past 2 times we saw cannibal corpse we hung with alex for like half a hour and then the last time we were talking to corpsegrinder for a while too!! so i was like man! I dont think hes gonna come out ( Erik) even though after the set he walked across stage and thanked the crowd and gave high fives haha so at this point what I thought were roadies were actually ORIGIN and this was the first time i had ever listened to them cuz ive heard of them but never checked them out haha so earlier before we went in the guitarist is walking around outside and says hey you ready for the show?!?! im like hell yeah just thinking it was a fellow drunk metal head haha so they go on and im blown away!! the singer starts a wall of death!! the first ive ever been in and the first of the tour for them so that was awesome! he was stage diving and wow! what a incredible frontman he is!!!

so near the end of the set ( maybe 2-3 songs before they end) we had to leave so we're walking towards the door and talk a little bit to tony lazaro cause i guess he handles the merch sale and after we get done talking to him i look up and eriks right infront of me haha so we all start talking and hes gonna be doing the next cannibal corpse and is gonna be doin the new ghoatwhore soon but yeah I had a great time. the pit for ORIGIN was madness!!

The craziest pit Ive been too was cannibal corpse at mayhem festival wow!!! It was so packed! Someone was throwing m-80s into the pit it was insane people with bloody noses everywhere! It was like 100 degrees out too. My dad and his friends grew up during the whole tape trading blessed alters leprosy consuming impulse era and all that when DM was new and all the jazz and said that was the craziest they've ever seen and the've been to hundreds and hundreds of shows. My dads fellating lover said the only pit close to that was sepultura and obituary cause of death and arise! So it was fuxking sick!!

Mayhem in 2000 was by far the most violent i've witnessed. oversold show at the palladium upstairs, which has a relatively small area for its main floor. the whole place was packed wall to wall, and it was one gigantic mob of violence for the whole set. so fucking intense, easily one of the best shows i've ever been to!

haha yeah, i had a similar experience as well! i'd staked out a spot up front during the opening bands and endured utter fucking hell to hold onto it (especially difficult as i weighed like, 125lbs at the time). totally paid off for like, the first half of the first song, after which i was forcefully shuffled about halfway back and up against one of the walls



this would've been in worcester, MA in early august of '00 i think, right around the time GDoW was released. they played again the following summer, but maniac was wasted and their set had to be postponed a couple hours and the performance was rather lacking compared to the '00 show

Afew feet back from the stage att the ottobar is a support column for the building. I watched an Asian retard hold on to it during a cannibal corpse pit. A few of the pits at jaxx were crazy due to the tiny space for it.

I'm not sure exactly because like I said I had to leave at about 3 songs beiges there set ended but I'd imagin e probably haha, he was saying some funny shit in between songs. Anyone know what a chicken fight or zombie mosh pit is?? The wall of death was sick!!
