strange that they wanted to make an album that had the hunger of master of puppets but that wound up having absolutely none of mop's warm sound. it's quite a sterile-sounding record, death magnetic. (sonically and otherwise)

they're not brickwalled to shit. not sure how that happened, but ted jensen said he got the album mixes already brickwalled to shit, so I guess fidelman didn't limit them to 0dBFs when he sent those stems over to the gh people
