Earlier today. I like their new CD, although "Black Clouds and Silver Linings" was a bit heavier. I prefer the instrumental sections, as I'm not a big fan of Labrie's voice as a rule and most of their lyrics are stupid (as are most bands'--I far prefer instrumental music.)

Hell's Kitchen, Overture 1928 and sometimes As I Am would get a few listens now and then but for the most part I don't really listen to this band anymore.

The drummer audition videos were the only reason I watched Dream Theater more than once in this lifetime. The first time was during Gigantour. I was a captive audience, waiting for Megadeth. They were performing rites intended to snuff the existence of everyone in attendance with entropy summoned from some great void in a dimension not our own. The passage of time slowed relative to the rest of the world. What was objectively measured to be just over an hour seemed to the observers to last days. I survived to tell you this tale, and to bring a warning. Don't listen to Dream Theater. Fuck those masturbated crackers.
