those albums are win, and black cascade rapes. probably not gonna be a top 10 of the year for me but it's a good album for sure. took a couple listens for me to "get" but after that it's been all gravy

rofl I dont know about you but I certainly don't see a whole shitload of people catching onto metal in general around here, other than deathcore and the like (ie watered down core bullshit). wittr may be popular in cali or the like but certainly not on a widespread basis.

do you also dislike deathspell omega, because they're a "hipster" band too? despite producing high-quality output recently, much better than their darkthrone clone output? and much better than 99% of the disgraceful black metal scene, in general.
