the glass is acrylic and is 23 feet tall by 61 feet wide and 2 feet thick. I forget how much psi the water is but I think they said that particular tank is the size of a football field.

Acrylic is rather stiff, and has a strength-to-weight ratio that surpasses steel. :interessant:
