i actually really like maniac's vocals on the post-DMDS mayhem releases. well, there are some parts of grand declaration that are pretty 
but aside from that i've always appreciated style. i guess it's pretty hard to get a fair shake when you're following one of the most influential and universally-adored albums in the history of a genre
