BATS owners, I have a question.

Post by groomdedz »

Which one do you prefer and why? The 1991 US release or the 2009 remastered version that comes with a DVD?

I don't really care about the DVD.

Sound quality all the way! \m/

Thanks!

I hear no difference, it's just a bit louder.

No difference really. If it's not loud enough, just turn up the volume. The dvd is complete garbage. Interviews with a bunch of roadies and Gunter Ford and Disco D?!?!?!? DIE!!!!

Abominations all the way :judge:

Wasn't there a thread about this with nice, in depth analysis and pictures? Or was that for the Altars rerelease?

Was there a remastered version that was issued prior to 2009? I swear, I remember buying one sometime around the mid-2000's that was remastered but didn't come with a DVD

Yes, I have the original version, the remaster with liner notes in a slipcase and the dualdisc version. Last 2 are exactly the same recording.

It's from the time that I was fooled into believing that remastering was actually sound enhancement. :homework: :krinor: :alien:

I also have a question for fellow BATS owners.

On the back, what is pictured beneath the blasphegram? It at least seems like 2 guns without their cylinders..?
