I don't think Paul sucks at all. He just has his style that fits his band perfectly, he even said himself he probably couldn't play a different style than this. That doesn't make him a bad drummer imo, because he's really good at what he does. His studio takes alone tell you how tight and spot on he is. It doesn't matter to me if a drummer is spot on and does all kinds of tricks or plays simple patterns and does it absolutely perfect. It might get a bit boring, I agree - but to say that he sucks is nonsense in my eyes.
