i'm almost surprised that there hasn't been a total conversion mod for l4d that turns it into a starwars game



i thought about a star wars map that would be similar to the helms deep map, it could be most if done right

yeah the world definitely doesn't have enough star wars games already. if there's one thing that's wrong with the videogame industry it's that they make games that aren't star wars. it's like, what the fuck, guys?! i see you making a game there, and it's not even remotely connected to star wars. and that's wrong.

you know what else is great about literally every single star wars game released in the past twelve years? the pre-release trailers for all of them all use that same song from phantom menace. which is great, because it's simply not possible for a piece to lose it's dramatic appeal due to inappropriate overuse or anything. the only place i think these developers went wrong was including other music in the actual games; why not just put that song on a loop for the duration of the entire game? i mean, it's obviously the best song.



zim, if you are serious about making that map, i hope you'll consider consulting me about the sound design for it once you get to that stage. i've got some great ideas that are going to blow your mind.

i just thought a star wars map similar to the l4d helms deep could be a lot of fun. i don't know how the map would progress though. just a thought really, i'm not sure if i'd ever do this.
